The right amount of pauses and breaks after every sentence and paragraph is critical. It determines how your final audio sounds like. Here are some of the best practices to keep in mind. You can edit your produced script by going to My Scripts > Options > Edit.

  1. For sentences, it's better to put 0.15s to 0.2s pause for it to sound natural. You can also remove the pause altogether if you wish it sound completely constant.

  2. For paragraphs, it's better to put 0.3s to 0.5s pause for it to sound natural. Paragraph pauses are important to ensure that your listeners can easily classify the end of a paragraph and the beginning of a new one.

  3. Commas are critical for your sentences to sound natural and clear. If you have a long sentence, considering placing a comma or two at appropriate places.
